ALB has announced an ambitious strategic plan for the next five years, including increasing demand for American lamb by 5% and taking 5% market share from lamb imports by the end of 2028.
This holiday season, the American Lamb Board (ALB) worked with a team of food bloggers to create and share holiday appetizer and main course recipes to inspire consumers to celebrate the season with American lamb.
The grant is for the project “Measuring the Climate Benefits and Emissions of Prescribed Sheep Grazing and Promoting the Consumption of Climate-Smart Lamb.”
The report will represent the sheep industry’s commitment to sustainability and describe the industry’s existing practices and goals for continuous improvement.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Marketing Service is seeking nominees for the American Lamb Board to succeed four members with terms that expire in February 2023.
