AdvancePierre Foods, a nationally recognized, fully integrated producer and seller of sandwiches and value-added proteins, adds the Sriracha Grilled Chicken sandwich to its BIG AZ sandwich line.
The BIG AZ Sriracha Chicken sandwich delivers a kick with its tangy-sweet hot sauce, increasingly popular among millennials. Sriracha sauce has seen a 72 percent jump in menu incidence in the past two years, according to Technomic. Further, the term “spicy” saw a 14 percent increase on convenience store menus in 2015.
The Sriracha-covered, tender-grilled chicken is topped with a cooling slice of cheese and served on APF’s famous golden, corn-dusted microwavable bun. It is offered in two different package options: hand-wrapped white quilted paper with a window for product viewing and designed to hold in a hot case and clear, printed film for merchandising in a cold case or vending machine.
“Our new grilled chicken sandwich is a hearty option that indulges taste buds with just the right amount of kick,” said Tony Schroder, president of convenience channels at APF. “It’s a ‘surefire’ way for c-store and vending outlets to stay on-trend.”
The BIG AZ Sriracha Chicken sandwich has a 14-day refrigerated shelf life. The sandwiches, packed eight to a case, are available now nationwide. For more information about AdvancePierre Foods, visit www.advancepierre.com.
