McDonald’s is testing a new burger with a fresh beef patty in seven Tulsa, Okla. restaurants. The Archburger uses a patty that is less than 3 ounces, making it smaller than Quarter Pounder burgers but larger than its plain hamburgers and cheeseburgers, reports the Associated Press.
The restaurant chain held similar tests when testing out its fresh burger patties for Quarter Pounders. The fresh Quarter Pounder will be rolled out to most of its 14,000 restaurants by the middle of 2018. The company is testing the Archburger to seek comments from its customers and restaurants.
