Dr. Justin Ransom is assistant vice president of food protection and government affairs for the OSI Group in Aurora, Ill. He received his doctorate in animal science from Colorado State University, with extensive research in meat science and food safety. He is a member of the scientific research advisory committees for the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, National Pork Producers Council and American Meat Institute Foundation.
