The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has kicked off the third phase of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Imported Seafood Pilot program, which uses AI and machine learning o strengthen import screening and to ensure that foods entering the U.S are safe.

United States Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and Trade Representative Katherine Tai have announced that the government of India has agreed to allow imports of U.S. pork and pork products into India, removing a longstanding barrier to U.S. agricultural trade.
