On the second day of Process Expo 2015, the Food Processing Education Consortium announced the creation of a new professional credential program called FIT, Food Industry Technician Certification.
Foodmate designed the center at the company’s U.S. headquarters, in Ball Ground, Georgia, to instruct and provide hands-on training to its customers’ maintenance, operations and production teams prior to actual in-plant installation.
Participants will learn to perform all maintenance level functions, monitor and use all safety features, troubleshoot technical issues and effectively use Handtmann’s detailed OEM reference materials.
