Hale and Hearty Soups LLC is recalling approximately 455 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken chili soup product that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Over the last two decades, the food industry has learned a tremendous amount about the potential dangers associated with Listeria in ready-to-eat (RTE) foods.
Bar-S Foods Company, an Altus, Okla. establishment, is recalling approximately 372,684 pounds of chicken and pork hot dog and corn dog products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes.
The meeting will review Listeria control at retail outlets & the possibility of including mandatory features on the label of processed, not-ready-to-eat products that appear as RTE.
The BAX System X5 PCR Assay for Genus Listeria was approved as a method extension of
Performance Tested Method #030502 for evaluating food and environmental samples.
