Wayne Farms, a Decatur, Ala., establishment is recalling approximately 53,210 pounds of frozen, breaded, fully cooked Italian-style chicken breast fillet products because they contain an undeclared allergen, egg, which is not noted on the label. Egg is a known allergen.
Quiznos has introduced its Chicken Bacon Dipper with signature cheese sauce. Part of what makes the Chicken Bacon Dipper unique is that it is served with a side of cheese sauce seasoned with vine-ripened tomatoes, diced green chiles and traditional Mexican spices.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service announced implementation of revised and new performance standards for Salmonella and Campylobacter in young chickens and turkeys. The standards will become effective in July 2011.
One in four Americans is worried about having enough money to put food on the table in the next year, according to a national hunger survey by Hart Research Associates, commissioned last month by the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) and Tyson Foods Inc. Another key finding is that many Americans are unaware of how serious hunger is in their own communities.
