Bettcher Foodservice is pleased to announce that John Oleksiak has joined the company as Product Marketing Manager. In this position, Oleksiak is responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing initiatives for the company’s foodservice equipment and products.
Oleksiak is a seasoned foodservice professional with more than 20 years of experience in the culinary arts, foodservice management, operations and sales. Prior to joining Bettcher Foodservice, he held positions with a number of high-visibility foodservice companies, including the Wasserstrom Company where he was responsible for account development and smallwares sales. He also worked at Sysco Corporation for nearly 15 years in a variety of functions ranging from brand management to purchasing and marketing, as well in sales management covering a five-state region for the company.
Oleksiak holds a B.S. degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is also a professional chef, having trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He is an active member of the American Culinary Federation, the Hospitality Procurement Network, the Society for Food Service Management and several other professional groups. He also has a military background (United States Air Force).
