The Meat Industry Hall Of Fame was created in 2008 as a repository of meat processing history and a shrine to the leaders and legends whose visions, skills and dedication shaped and sustained our industry and to recognize its place as the leading sector of North American food production.
MIHOF is now accepting nominations for the Class of 2019. Although nominations are especially encouraged from our board of directors and past inductees, anyone connected with the meat and poultry production and processing industries can suggest a colleague or associate for induction. To nominate someone worthy of the industry’s highest honor, complete and submit the form located here. Deadline for nominations is June 17, 2019.
CRITERIA: To be eligible, candidates for the MEAT INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME must have:
- Spent a significant portion of their professional careers in an industry-related field
- Contributed significant innovation, achieved notable business success or otherwise
- impacted their organization, institution or industry segment
- Undertaken notable community service or philanthropy
