In the wake of headline-making recalls of poultry products and with new food safety standards like the BRC going into effect, food safety and brand reputation are top of mind as 2019 begins. To help processors enhance food safety, assure product integrity and provide greater traceability that many are seeking, Eagle Product Inspection will showcase advanced inspection technologies at IPPE 2019, Feb 12-14 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
At IPPE, Eagle (Booth B6001) will exhibit systems used with a variety of meat and poultry products, including bulk/loose, unpackaged and packaged items. Those systems include:
- Eagle RMI 400, which provides superior bone and contaminant detection in demanding, harsh environments like meat and poultry plants.
- The Eagle FA3/M for inline fat measurement and contaminant detection, used for loose meats and blocks of meat.
- Eagle Pipeline, designed to find and reject contaminants in ground meats and poultry breasts flowing into a pipe, prior to further processing and packaging.
Eagle’s technologies are also on display in a full processing line on the floor of the IPPE show: see it in action at Booth 4505 from Eagle’ partner company FPEC Corp.
