Chicago Meat Authority has added two salespeople to its sales team at the privately held boning and portion control operations located in the historic Chicago stockyards.
Tyler Struckhoff is the business development manager in charge of national food service distribution. Andrew Hays is business development manager in charge of wholesale meat distribution and the company’s buying group partners. Both previously worked for Pilgrim’s Pride.
“We continue to expand our sales team to better service our customers,” said Kyle Richard, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Tyler and Andrew have deep roots in protein sales and they are a great asset to our department.”
Chicago Meat Authority began in 1990, encompasses 80,000 square feet and produces sales of $125 million per year. The company sells to the hotel, restaurant and institutional markets in addition to meat purveyors and multi-unit regional and national chains. CMA also specializes in custom cuts for further processors including grinding operations, deli manufacturers and the meat snacks market.
