Jalisco’s Meat Market in Bakersfield, Calif., has been closed by Kern County health inspectors. The business was found selling food from an unapproved source and making beef jerky using unapproved methods.
The Kern Golden Empire reports that the store’s chicharones, rice & beans, shredded meat and jerky were voluntarily condemned by the owner. The store received a 74 percent on its inspection report.
