IFF has entered into an agreement to acquire David Michael & Company, Incorporated. David Michael is a privately-held company headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. In business since 1896, David Michael is known in the industry for innovation, technical capabilities and products, and solid customer focus.

IFF, IFF-Ottens Flavors, and David Michael share a strong commitment to innovation, rich histories, and a passion for our customers. Merging and leveraging the strengths of both IFF-Ottens Flavors, acquired by IFF in 2015, and David Michael, will further reinforce our differentiated service model in the US, focused on speed, agility, and enhanced collaboration. This acquisition of David Michael by IFF expands our ability to offer you a diverse portfolio of flavor technologies and technical expertise.

The three companies will continue to operate separately until the deal with David Michael closes. Following that, the careful and deliberate process of combining the strengths and expertise of IFF-Ottens Flavors and David Michael will begin. Until the deal closes, which is expected to occur sometime in the fourth quarter of 2016, IFF and David Michael will remain separate companies and your primary points of contact will remain the same.
