A fire over the weekend at the Green Bay Dressed Beef plant destroyed a storage room and caused about $20,000 in damage. The fire started in a first-floor room on Saturday night, destroying a room where uniforms and processing equipment were kept, reports the Green Bay Press Gazette. Fire damage extended to the second floor of the plant, and smoke affected three floors of the plant. There were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
