On Tuesday, October 7th, Molokai Ranch introduced its new brand, Molokai Ranch Beef, a premium 100% grass-fed Angus beef, by hosting a private event for leaders of the Hawaii food community. Held at the award-winning 12th Ave Grill, guests enjoyed special appetizers, craft cocktails, and a four-course menu of composed dishes with wine pairings sponsored by Southern Wine & Spirits. Acclaimed chefs that prepared the innovative menu included 12th Ave Grill's Chef/Owner Kevin Hanney, Jason Schoonover, Ryan Durham, mixologist Mike Hall, and Koko Head Cafe's Executive Chef Lee Anne Wong.

Among the chefs in attendance were Eberhard Hardy Kintscher of Michel's, Nolan West of 'Ama 'Ama in Aulani Resort, and Mike Suh of Morimoto Waikiki. Molokai Ranch Operations Manager Dathan Bicoy, assured guests "I had to make sure Molokai Ranch Beef was good enough for my own family. And I am proud to share it with everyone tonight."
Chef George Mavrothalassitis of the renowned Chef Mavro said, "I was very impressed with the quality of the beef. I think Molokai Ranch is heading in the right direction."
"The texture and taste was not gamey or tough. The flavor was great," noted Kai Market's Executive Chef Darren Demaya. The restaurant in Starwood Hotels & Resorts' Sheraton Waikiki is the first farm-to-table buffet in Hawaii.
Supporters of the ranch-to-table movement gathered for a first taste of Molokai Ranch Beef, the newest premium beef on the market.
