Cantrell, a poultry and food processing equipment sales, parts sales and service company, has received three patents on its CWCS-8400 Wing Segmenter.
Cantrell received US patents for the wing segmenting system and method of use, the machine itself and the wing segmenting shackle and method of use. The wing tip blade used on the machine is currently patent pending.
US Patent No. 8,641,487 covers the wing segmenting system and method of use, US Patent No. 8,517,805 was issued for the wing segmenting machine and US Patent No. 8,702,480 was recently received for the wing segmenting shackle and method of use.
“Cantrell has worked tirelessly to research and develop a wing segmenting system that allows our customers to increase their quality of cuts at higher speeds, reduce labor and maintenance costs and also enable them to choose from varying layouts of the system ,” Cantrell General Manager Finance/Operations Tony Rice said. “We were able to do that with the CWCS-8400 and we are gratified that our work has been recognized with a U.S. patent.”
The CWCS-8400 Wing Segmenter makes accurate cuts while running at high capacity. It properly orients the wing for accuracy on each individual cut. The shackle transfer eliminates misfeeds.
