Wire Belt introduced a new line of PEEK (PolyEtherEther-Ketone) drive components, a high performance engineered thermoplastic that can operate at high temperatures and is less abrasive on stainless steel belts than metal drive components. PEEK can be used continuously to 480°F (250°C) and in hot water or steam without permanent loss in physical properties. In a case study, a user found PEEK components to last five times greater than polyacetal plastic components. The PEEK line is available for all drive components including: gears, blanks, and end rollers. For more information, please call 603-644-2500.
