Cargill reported net earnings of $424 million in the fiscal 2014 fourth quarter ended May 31, down 12 percent from $483 million in the year-ago period.

Adjusted Operating Earnings for the second quarter was a loss of $12.1 million compared to a loss of $32.3 million last year.
