The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) PORK 101 program launched in fall, 1997, and 21 years later continues to offer insight into the pork industry; over that span of time shaping, influencing, and guiding over 2,000 people.
Today, Paradise Locker Meats has a line of retail products called Fantasma's Finest, which is gaining brand awareness in the Kansas City area. It also has a farm-to-fork program that supplies natural pork from heritage breeds to discerning customers around the country.
Brookwood Farms is one of the only meat processors in the country that measures its cooking capacity by the yard instead of by the pound. All total, the company has 900 yards worth of pit space in its Siler City, N.C. headquarters.
