Poultry industry leaders from Cargill, Prestage Farms and Pilgrim’s participated in a program that informed the students about the multitude of career opportunities in the industry.
While anyone can attend the events, they are targeted to producers, feeders and other stakeholders who want a better understanding of factors that contribute to the market value of cattle and how these factors can inform marketing and production decisions.
Participating restaurants include SUR Restaurant & Lounge, Bodega Malbec Argentinean Grill, and Amarone Kitchen & Wine, with its newly-open sister restaurant, Amarone Kitchen & Bar.
The investments support the Biden-Harris Administration’s Action Plan for a Fairer, More Competitive, and More Resilient Meat and Poultry Supply Chain, which dedicates resources to expand independent processing capacity.
