The Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and the Greater Chicago Food Depository announced an initiative to help Defeat HungerSM in the greater Cook County, IL area. The initiative will run in conjunction with PROCESS EXPO 2013, November 3-6 in Chicago.
“USDA expects that these changes will improve the overall operation of the program and also bring the current mandatory COOL requirements into compliance with U.S. international trade obligations,” said Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
