The International Lectureship Award was established to honor an individual for internationally recognized contributions to the field of meat science and technology and is sponsored by AMSA.
The awards recognize meat and poultry plants that have achieved high levels of workplace safety performance as part of the industry’s continuing effort to reduce occupational injury and illness rates.
The top meat companies in the Show-Me State certainly showed off their best products at this year’s Missouri Association of Meat Processors Annual Convention.
The award is presented annually to the ICG supplier that receives the highest marks on performance evaluations completed by ICG members for the prior calendar year.
Along with the trade show, seminars and networking opportunities, the Missouri Association of Meat Processors' annual cured meats competition drew a total of 256 total entries, up from 204 at last year’s event.
