Glass Onion Catering, a Richmond, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 181,620 pounds of RTE salads and sandwich wrap products with fully-cooked chicken and ham.
Reser’s Fine Foods, a Topeka, Kan. establishment, is expanding its recall of chicken, ham and beef products to include all products produced between Oct. 10 and Oct. 25, 2013.
Last month, I wrote about how industry has managed to virtually eliminate E. coliO157:H7 from our beef supply. Indeed, in the last two years, there have been only a handful of recalls relating to E. coli, and none were associated with foodborne illnesses or outbreaks.
