The suit named American Broadcasting Companies Inc. and ABC News Inc. as defendants, as well as reporters Diane Sawyer, Jim Avila and David Kerley as well as Gerald Zirnstein, Carl Custer and Kit Foshee, all of whom contributed to the alleged defamatory broadcasts.
