The Gold-winning teams of the National FFA Poultry Evaluation Food Science and Technology Career Development Events are invited to attend the International Poultry Expo.

The USPOULTRY Foundation works to attract the best and brightest students to the poultry industry.

The summit will be held in conjunction with the International Poultry Expo and is co-hosted by the Latin American Poultry Association.

Going forward, Gwen Venable will be responsible for the association’s International Poultry Expo and the overall management of the International Production & Processing Expo.

Denis Kan, president of Jamesway, presented a check in the amount of $2,000, and USPOULTRY matched Jamesway’s contribution.

Henning Cos. presented a check in the amount of $5,000, and USPOULTRY matched $2,000 of Henning Cos.’ contribution.

Eight companies have been exhibiting for 50 or more years at the International Poultry Expo, part of the 2023 International Production & Processing Expo.

The USPOULTRY awards include USPOULTRY’s Workhorse of the Year, Dr. Charles Beard Research Excellence Award and the Lamplighter Award.
