The 75th Anniversary celebration is set for Saturday, August 19th in Marshfield, Wisc., at Wenzel’s Park.

Attendees of the Sweets & Snacks show held in Chicago at McCormick Place from May 22–25 can go to Booth 10529 to meet with company representatives.

Clean-label meat snacks are taking off. Charqui Jerky Co., Country Archer Provisions, and Cattaneo Bros. discuss their company histories and most popular meat snack offerings.

Rosemary Turkey Mini Sticks will be available at Sprouts stores nationwide in July, as well as on Amazon and countryarcher.com, with additional retailers coming on board later this year.

The Schaller & Weber collaborative salami sticks will be available online, at their Yorkville store in N.Y., and through launch partners.

Mark Vieth, president of Wenzel’s Farm, has been with the company for nearly two decades. Vieth said that 19 years ago, he applied to an ad in the paper and began working as an accountant for Russ Wenzel. 

Old Trapper is the Official Beef Jerky of the Big 12, Pac 12 and Big Ten Conferences.

The brand is also honoring national parks with a $10,000 contribution to the National Parks Conservation Association.

The meat snacks come in two flavors: Original and Fuego.

New snacks include the Jack Link's Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili flavored and Flamin' Hot flavored Original beef jerky and meat sticks.
