The Hormel Cure 81 ham brand donated $50,000 and food for Easter meals to help families who are spending the Easter holiday at Fisher Houses across the country.
The meat and poultry were donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and the Isaiah 58 Outreach Ministry of Belmont Church by exhibitors at the Annual Meat Conference.
Hormel Foods Corp. announced that donations to hunger relief organizations throughout the United States and abroad totaled more than $3 million during its fiscal year 2012.
