Forty-nine workers have been laid off at a lamb slaughter plant in northwest Iowa. KTIV reports that workers at the Superior Farms plant in Hawarden were let go on Wednesday.
Lamb lovers are being called on across the nation to turn on their stoves, grills and ovens, grab their cameras and submit pictures of cooked lamb for weekly prizes, courtesy of Superior Farms.
