Pfingsten Partners L.L.C. announced the appointment of Craig J. Tompkins as the new president and CEO of Marlen International Inc.
“In his former role at Pfingsten, Craig worked closely with the Marlen management team in strategic and tactical planning. His strategic vision and operating skills in manufacturing, supply chain management and engineering served Marlen well over the past four years, including Marlen’s consolidation of manufacturing and operations into its new Riverside, Missouri headquarters earlier this year”, stated Pfingsten’s Managing Director, Denio Bolzan. “We will miss Craig as a part of the Pfingsten team, but his decision to assume the leadership position at Marlen is a great move for Craig and the company.”
Tompkins added, “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Marlen team over the past four years and am excited to lead the company going forward. Marlen is a great company and I look forward to expanding its presence globally as a leading manufacturer and technical service provider of highly engineered and innovative food processing equipment.”
Tompkins holds a master’s degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University. His experience includes senior executive and corporate leadership roles in the manufacturing, distribution and business service sectors.
