Provisur Technologies Inc., a leading global provider of high performance food processing equipment, has announced the appointment of Virgil A. Holloway as account manager for the Southeast region of the United States.

Holloway has an extensive background in the meat and poultry processing industry, including management roles at companies based in the southeast, including Tyson Inc. and OK Foods Inc. That experience serves him well in his new account manager role, through which he provides regional sales leadership for Provisur’s diverse and continually expanding line of food processing equipment and aftermarket products. He also helps coordinate all functional activities within the group, including sales, service, engineering and product development to best meet customer needs and expectations.

Before joining Provisur Technologies, Holloway was Valley complex manager for Springdale, Ark.-based Tyson Inc., where he oversaw operations for three further processing poultry plants in Arkansas and Mississippi. He has also worked as a vice president, general manager and plant manager for OK Foods Inc.

Holloway earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas and served his country in the United States military.

Holloway reports to Jim Petersen, North American Sales Manager for Formax Forming, TST and Weiler brands.
