Prior to joining Case Foods, Phillips spent three years with Gold Kist in poultry processing and sales management positions.
“Mike has worked with me since I started the company in 1987 and has been an integral part of our growth and success over the past 25 years. We are excited for him to lead the company in this new position,” said Thomas R. Shelton, Case Foods founder, chairman and CEO. “Kevin has played a key role in our sales growth since 1999, and we are eager for him to oversee the day to day operations of the company. We are grateful to David for his leadership and look forward to continuing our relationship as he remains on the board of directors.”
Originally from Pennsylvania, Popowycz graduated from Moravian College with a degree in accounting. Phillips is originally from North Carolina and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in poultry science.
