Jerry’s Foods, an Annandale, Minn. establishment is recalling approximately 24 pounds of summer sausage products because of misbranding and undeclared allergens. The products contain the undeclared allergens whey and soy, ingredients in a spice blend, which are not noted on the label.

The products subject to recall include 12-ounce (chub) packages of "County Market Beef Summer Sausage" in a burgundy colored casing and "County Market Beef Summer Sausage With Jalapenos" in a burgundy colored casing.

The fully cooked, ready-to-eat products also bear the establishment number "EST. 7777" inside the USDA mark of inspection and a use by/sell by date of "9/10/11." The products, which have a 60-day shelf life, were produced July 12, 2011, and packaged on July 14, 2011. They were sold at a retail store owned by Jerry’s Foods in Wisconsin. The problem was discovered during a label review at the establishment by a company quality control manager. FSIS and the company have received no reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
