Lantech’s new Q-300XT Plus stretch wrapping system ends double handling of pallet loads common with standard stretch-wrapping systems and improves efficiency and ergonomics for fork truck operators. The Q-300XT Plus allows the fork truck operator to simply drive up, position the pallet on the turntable, start the machine with a lanyard switch, and drive away. The wrapping machine automatically attaches the film for the start of wrapping, and cuts the film at the end. Once the load is wrapped, the Q-300XT Plus system uses a unique indexing “arm” to transfer the wrapped load to an exit conveyor section, keeping the wrap zone “open and ready” for the next load. Extra conveyor sections can be added to create an accumulation zone for wrapped loads during peak production.
