WASHINGTON – The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) said Friday it had recently modified its Country-of-Origin Labeling (COOL) program Web site.
The AMS has added a link to the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) homepage and included two informational brochures with regulatory information for retailers, consumers, producers and suppliers. The brochures have been dated Nov. 12, 2008 and are listed under New Guidance Documents.
People can subscribed to the Web site’s listserve and receive emails when new documents are posted or when an existing document is changed on the site.
