Lohmann Animal Health International (LAHI) has introduced AviBlue to the U.S. poultry industry as a means of stabilizing water for the delivery of animal vaccinations. AviBlue’s blue dye effervescent granules dissolve quickly without any need for mixing. Also, they leave no residual stains and won’t clog spray nozzles and equipment. It is documented to increase the lifespan of live vaccines for bacterial and viral titers up to four hours. AviBlue can be applied in drinking water or in a coarse spray application. It has been approved for use in the United States.
