Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection, a global market leader in product inspection technology, will present a comprehensive range of inspection solutions at Pack Expo 2019 in Las Vegas, NV, September 23 to 25. Systems for providing thorough and reliable inspection of food, beverage, pharmaceuticals and other products – both bulk and packaged – will be exhibited in booth C2023. Mettler Toledo specialists will be available to thoroughly explain the systems’ technology and answer questions about attendees’ specific inspection needs.

New in the booth this year Mettler Toledo will showcase an important new feature on a metal detector that only visitors to the booth will be able to see. In addition, Mettler Toledo’s popular Profile Advantage, rated to IP69K, will be inspecting frozen bread as it thaws, a challenge for traditional metal detectors that often produces multiple false rejects. Among all of the inspection technologies, METTLER TOLEDO will showcase its custom material handling designs and a variety of reject mechanisms will be shown, including stop alarm, side diverter, pusher, air blast, retracting band, and lift flap.

Also in the booth four of Mettler Toledo’s metal detectors for vertical gravity flow applications will be exhibited, each incorporating four improvements that increase the productivity, quality and worker safety of the unit.

The numerous exhibited systems in the booth will focus on critical areas such as food safety, brand protection and food and pharmaceutical industry regulatory compliance. They will also demonstrate the equipment’s ability to enhance productivity and increase operator efficiency to improve OEE in addition to protecting product quality and brand image. These systems detect physical contaminants, as well as ensuring accurate package weights, complete contents and correct labelling. On display will be systems demonstrating the five areas of product inspection technology–checkweighing, metal detection, X-ray, vision inspection, and Track & Trace with serialization and aggregation solutions. Also on display will be the Mettler Toledo ProdX data collection and management software that can be linked to all systems and monitored on a single PC onsite or remotely.
