Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump technologies, will showcase its innovative pumping solutions in Booth #B8309 at the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta Feb. 12-14. Expo attendees will have the opportunity to experience a range of Grundfos’ products and solutions for food processing plants and hear a Tech Talk from a Grundfos dosing and disinfection expert.
In booth #B8309, attendees will be able to experience the range of Grundfos’ solutions for wash and clean, chemical dosing and water treatment, and pressure boosting applications. Grundfos’ booth will introduce the new range of vertical multistage CR pumps, which provide industry-leading efficiency and reliability for wash and clean and other food processing plant pressure boosting needs. Visitors can experience the upcoming expansion of the CR pump range from the top of the Empire State Building, on a helicopter or even in a racecar – via virtual reality simulations in the booth.
On Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. IPPE attendees can visit Hall C9123 for a Tech Talk on the advantages of stepper motor design in chemical feed pumps by Grundfos’ U.S. Product Manager for Dosing and Disinfection Jared Gabel.
During his Tech Talk, Gabel will discuss the need for properly designed chemical feed systems for the efficient operation of food processing plants. The talk will focus on how stepper motor technology can help ensure government-mandated specification are met and chemicals are dosed accurately, while providing a value-add to the process -- increased cost-efficiency. Gabel is an expert in dosing and disinfection who has trained industry professionals throughout North America about the functionality and applications of chemical dosing pumps.
“I’ve always been drawn to the interconnectivity of systems and chemistry, which are integral to dosing systems,” he said. “I hope anyone who attends our Tech Talk on stepper motors will come away with an understanding of the benefits of this technology for accurate, reliable chemical feed applications.”
For chemical dosing and water treatment needs, attendees can get a hands-on look at Grundfos’ easy-to-install Smart Digital pumps, as well as a Dosing Skid System (DSS) with DID water treatment measurement and monitoring system. Attendees can also see the Grundfos Hydro MPC skidded solution and learn how Grundfos can create complete, packaged systems for any application.
“We provide the manufacturing of the drive, pump and motor, as well as complete skidded packages, so we are able to partner with processing plants to be a complete solutions provider to address nearly any pumping challenge,” said Jay Stellmacher, vice president of sales at Grundfos. “Efficiency is a key component of all our products, and our industry-leading reliability improves uptime and reduces maintenance headaches for plant operators.”
