Interflon USA Inc. announces kosher and halal certifications

Interflon USA Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received kosher and halal certifications for its entire range of food-safe lubricants for use in the pharmaceutical production industry.

“We are very happy to be able to serve a broader range of clients with these certifications,” said Otto Oosterwijk, CEO of Interflon USA. “At Interflon USA, we understand that manufacturers are serving diverse clientele with a variety of needs. Our goal is to help manufacturers serve their existing customers and expand to reach new audiences with their products. With our kosher and halal certificates, we are now able to do that more effectively.”

The certifications are in addition to Interflon USA’s existing NSF ratings, which permit their food-safe products to be used on machinery that may come into incidental contact with medicines or supplements.

Interflon USA’s products include:

Interflon Food Lube with MicPol, a lubricant that goes on wet, displaces moisture, and dries to a solid film. Available in aerosol or bulk liquid format, Food Lube can be used on chains, gearboxes, bearings, rollers, gates, and any other application in the production environment. (NSF H1)
Interflon Food Grease LT2 with MicPol, a grease application that performs in extreme low and high temperature situations (-40℉ to +300℉) (NSF H1)
Interflon Eco Degreaser with F-Active technology, which safely and effectively removes grease residue, used oil, hydrocarbons, graphite, ink, tar, polymers, polystyrene, glue, wax and bitumen. (NSF A1)

MicPol is the signature ingredient of Interflon’s lubricants. It creates a layer of micronized, polarized solid lubricant particles that can prolong the life of chains and bearings by many times. It is highly resistant to wear and water washout. Interflon products with MicPol exist in a wide range of formulations for use in every type of production environment.
