Coastal Solar Power LLC announced it will participate in the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) from February 12 – 14, 2019.
The 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), the world’s largest annual poultry, meat and feed industry event, will bring together more than 30,000 visitors in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center, located at 285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW. This year’s expo is focused on “Innovation” and bringing together buyers and sellers of the latest technology of products and services to support the agriculture industry.
Clay Sikes is the owner and CEO of Coastal Solar Power LLC, who has helped more poultry farmers cut their utility costs through solar applications. He shares his excitement about meeting with suppliers and integrators at this year’s expo, and the opportunity to share how solar is a great option for their poultry farmers.
“We’ve led in solar energy installations at U.S. poultry farms for the past four years,” said Sikes. “The savings are significant for farmers who are often buried in high utility bills resulting from high usage for lighting, ventilation, heating, cooling, and feed lines - everything needed to grow your flock.”
He continued, “This year, we have helped over a dozen Georgia poultry farmers move forward with solar solutions, and save a lot of money. We accomplished that by offering solutions to reduce energy usage without lowering poultry production, and by helping them build an ROI using REAP Grants and tax credits. Our poultry customers have realized an average of 25-50% in cost offsets, and most are seeing a full recovery of their investment within a few years.”
The Georgia World Congress Center houses three halls for the massive expo to accommodate 1,300 exhibitors. Coastal Solar will be meeting with integrators, suppliers, and farmers (foreign and domestic) from Booth #C11801 in C Hall near the live poultry production exhibitions.
“We’re excited to exhibit at the IPPE this year, so we can get the facts out about the financial benefits available when investing in solar. We look forward to seeing customers we’ve helped. And, we look forward to helping more in the future,” said Sikes.
