Rockford Systems LLC, a premier provider of machine safeguarding products and services, is making it easier for employers to provide safety training to workers who face hazards on the job by discounting its OSHA classes fifty percent from now until July 13th. The reduced fee includes training by a Certified OSHA Safety Instructor, all materials, and lunch.

Discounts apply to the following training classes offered by Rockford Systems, LLC.

  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Course is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. It is scheduled for July 9-12, 2018. The regular fee is $800, but is now $400.
  • OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Course is intended to provide entry-level general industry workers with information about their rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint. Students will also learn how to identify, abate, avoid and present job-related hazards on a work site. It is scheduled for June 14-15. The regular fee is $300, discounted now to $150.

OSHA Hazard Communication Courses are led by Brent Bryden, a Certified OSHA Safety Instructor for the National Safety Education Center at Northern Illinois University (NIU) in DeKalb, Illinois and the National Safety Council. He has 33 years of manufacturing, environmental, health and safety experience.

To maximize the return on training investment, Rockford Systems suggests that attendees of the OSHA-10 course on May 29-30 consider bundling with the OSHA 1910.1200 HazCom course scheduled for May 31. Alternatively, attendees of the OSHA-30 course July 9-12 visiting Chicago over the weekend and stay the following week and attend the Machine Safeguarding Seminar July 17-19.
