Marfrig acquisition of National Beef to be paid for by sale of Keystone Foods
Reuters is reporting that Brazilian beef processor Marfrig Global Foods SA intends to sell Keystone Foods LLC. The proceeds of that sale will be used to repay the loan used to acquire National Beef Packing Co. The company announced it was buying a controlling interest in National Beef, making Marfrig the second-largest beef processor in the world.
