The American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP), North America’s largest meat trade organization, today announced the launch of a new website.

Designed to present a sleek and modern appearance, the website dramatically improves content delivery, event scheduling, association resources, mobile optimization, and various other features to meet the needs of the members of AAMP.

“In 2015, we unveiled a redesigned logo for AAMP, and this year we are continuing to advance our brand with a new website,” said Chris Young, executive director of AAMP. "A major part of the rebranding effort for AAMP was to upgrade the website with a modern design that greater reflects the mission of the association.”

A request-for-proposal was presented for the website construction with bids received from a number of vendors. Pennsylvania-based website company, Mile 6, was selected as the design firm.

The initial launch of the new website incorporates features such as enhanced search capabilities, a wide range of news content, and an easy-to-navigate format in a sleek, modern design. A master calendar highlights all of the association’s events; state affiliate conventions; training workshops; as well as co-sponsored industry conferences and seminars.

Young concluded, "AAMP will continue to improve the new website by seeking and incorporating feedback from its members and leadership. The website will constantly evolve to best serve the needs and demands of the members of AAMP. We are committed to serving our members to the fullest extent possible.”

The new website is live today and can be viewed at www.aamp.com.
