Tosca, an innovator in reusable packaging and supply chain solutions, announced today the opening of its newest facility in Omaha, Nebraska; the organization’s 14th service center nationwide. The Omaha location will enable Tosca to better respond to customers, and reduce delivery and turnaround time of their industry-leading reusable plastic containers (RPCs). This is the fourth service center opening for Tosca since 2015, in response to the massive growth the company has seen.
Tosca’s approach to positioning service centers in close proximity to point the of demand, allows the organization to offer exceptional response time to customers while significantly reducing freight costs and time in transit. “Speed of response, reduced freight, and outstanding service are just a few of the benefits that our expansive network provides for our customers” says Eric Frank, president and CEO of Tosca.
“The Omaha location was built and designed specifically to support a new relationship with a national retailer for the shipping of case-ready meat,” says Mike Wasson, vice president of Supply Chain and Operations at Tosca. “By constantly evaluating and adding new service centers to our network when appropriate, we’re creating more efficient supply chains and saving our customers both time and money.”
The Omaha service center will further expand the company’s robust network and strengthen its position as the premier RPC provider in the country while creating employment opportunities for Omaha area residents.
Tosca also boasts other service center locations in Salinas and San Bernardino, Calif.; Denver, Colo.; Newnan, Ga.; Chicago, Ill.; Sharonville, Ohio; Hazleton, Pa.; Memphis, Tenn.; Dallas; Garland, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Lakewood, Wash.; and Green Bay, Wis.
