Safe Foods Corporation announced that Chris Coleman has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer and President, effective immediately. Coleman has been with Safe Foods since 2001 and most recently served as the company’s Chief Business Development Officer. Safe Foods also announced that Chief Operating Officer Bruce Smith has been promoted to President while retaining the title of COO.
These moves come as former Safe Foods CEO Rush Deacon transitions to lead Arkansas Capital Corporation, where he has served on the Board for almost twenty years. Deacon will continue to serve on the Board of Directors for Safe Foods. Building on the success of Safe Foods’ founders, Deacon led the company toward becoming a global food safety leader with a presence in 26 states and 11 countries worldwide. As Chris Coleman assumes leadership, Safe Foods is well-positioned for continued growth in new and existing markets, partnering with food processors to ensure a safer food supply for the world.
