MULTIVAC, Inc. welcomes Brian Walker to the MULTIVAC family as one of the Field Service Technicians focusing on the Western Region of the United States. Brian brings more than 10 years of experience and looks to make an immediate impact.

Brian comes to MULTIVAC from the dairy processing industry where he worked as a technician for the past eight years. In this role, Brian worked on and repaired heavily automated machinery, as well as performing quarterly and annual preventative maintenance functions. Prior to this, he worked as a Hydraulic Technician where he designed and installed hydraulic systems on hooklift and field service trucks.

As a Field Service Technician for MULTIVAC, Brian will work directly with customers to identify issues they are experiencing and resolving these issues quickly to allow the machine to return to production. He will also work with customers on new installations by ensuring the machine is operational and functioning correctly from the first day. The Field Service Technician position is also responsible for training staff before operating the installed equipment, allowing the customer to get the most out of their new machine(s).

Mark Turnham, West Regional Service Manager said, “Brian is well versed in automation, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and machine diagnostics and has worked with high speed packaging equipment. His knowledge with case packers, case stackers, gallon fillers and pouch machines will assist the MULTIVAC Service Team in continuing the high level of customer support our customers expect and receive.”

MULTIVAC continues to develop new products and services that meet the changing needs of the packaging industry. In the past two years, regional sales offices have been opened in California and New Jersey to bring sales coverage and service closer to the customer. Another regional office is scheduled to open in North Carolina in the summer of 2016. Additionally, the U.S. headquarters is currently renovating the offices in Kansas City to include a 32,000 square-foot addition. This allows MULTIVAC to further expand upon manufacturing capabilities. The renovation will include a new, state-of-the-art innovation and demonstration area, allowing customers to have hands-on experience with new and emerging MULTIVAC equipment as well as serving as a training facility for new and returning customers.
