Wildeck, Inc., a major U.S. manufacturer of industrial steel work platforms (mezzanines), VRCs (vertical reciprocating conveyors), facility safety guarding products, mobile rolling ladders, and other high access equipment signaled the beginning of a major building renovation and remodeling project with a dramatic VIP “Wall Busting” event at its headquarters operations in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
“Out with the old; in with the new,” stated Keith G. Pignolet, as he and other VIPs adorned with hard hats and safety glasses hurled ceremonial sledge hammers at an old interior building wall at its 405 Commerce Street office location. Hammer hurlers included:
- Shawn Reilly – Mayor of Waukesha
- Gary Zimmerman - President, Creative Business Interiors
- Joseph Haas – CEO, Holden Industries
- Keith G. Pignolet – President, Wildeck, Inc.
- Mark Brooks – Director of Manufacturing, Wildeck, Inc.
“We are both excited and pleased,” said Pignolet, “to announce the much needed remodeling of our facility. It signifies Wildeck’s commitment to growth as a premier employer in the Waukesha, Wisconsin community.”
Founded in 1976, Wildeck supplies custom designed mezzanine structures, vertical lifts, guard rail, and industrial rolling ladders that provide more capacity, efficiency, safety and access for customers in North America and around the world. As the company prepares to celebrate its 40th year in 2016 and launches an era of aggressive growth over the next four years, the commitment was made to redesign, expand, and streamline its Waukesha operations.
According to Pignolet, “The changes we are making now will increase our capacity and responsiveness to customers, make room for additional staff, and provide a more modern and efficient work environment for all Wildeck employee owners.”
The renovation and remodeling project is expected to be completed by the Spring of 2016.
