Praxair, Inc. announced today that it has contributed, along with other exhibitors, to the Defeat Hunger Campaign in conjunction with the Greater Chicago Food Depository at this year’s Process Expo. Process Expo is co-located with INTERBEV and the International Dairy Show in Chicago’s McCormick Place, September 15-18, 2015. Praxair will exhibit in booth 6714.
“Praxair is honored to participate in this worthy cause,” said Lisa Esneault, Praxair vice president of Global Communications and Public Relations. “The Praxair Global Giving initiative is perfectly matched to support community efforts like this one from the Food Processing Suppliers Association. When our exhibit team presented the opportunity we were immediately on-board.”
On the exhibit floor, Praxair will feature four new technology developments that use industrial gases in food and beverage processes, including improvement in the cooling efficiency of meat mixers, lower operating costs with new cryogenic tunnel freezers, advancements in frozen pellet production, and for beverage producers, Praxair will share a highly space-efficient, low-capital system for controlling dissolved oxygen levels in beverage process streams.
Visitors to the three-in-one show in Chicago will gain a greater understanding of the potential productivity gains that food and beverage manufacturers can realize using cryogenic, atmospheric and process gases.
