Allen Harim, a leading producer and processor of chicken on Delmarva, has promoted four employees to senior level positions within Allen Harim, company officials announced this week.
Sylvia Nicholson has been promoted to Senior Director of Human Resources and Corporate Communications. She joined the company in October of 2014 with an impressive track record leading human resources initiatives within a wide range of industries. Since joining the company, she has overseen human resources strategy development, as well as employment services, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and professional training and development.
Everett Brown was promoted to Senior Director of Operations responsible for both Harbeson and Cordova. Brown joined the company in March of 2014 as Senior Manager at Harbeson. Prior to joining Allen Harim, Brown spent 30 years working in the poultry industry and served as Director of Operations at Mountaire Farms in Selbyville, Del.
Scott Yackel has been promoted to Plant Manager at Cordova, having previously served as Assistant Plant Manager at Harbeson. He has been with the company since 1993 and has served in a variety of roles for Allen Harim.
Jim Quinton will now serve as Senior Manager Transportation and Environmental Services and reports directly to Allen Harim CEO Steve Evans. He previously served as Senior Manager of Cordova operations and Transportation. In his new role, he has responsibility for the company’s transportation, from logistics to planning and coordinating all delivery and hauling activities. He also will oversee meeting all environmental compliance. He has more than 25 years of experience in the poultry industry, having joined Allen Harim in 1993.
