Food Safety Net Services (FSNS), a leader in the microbial, chemical testing and auditing of food and nutraceutical products for the food safety industry, has announced the appointment of Heather L. Staples, PHR, as Director of Human Resources.
In her new role, Staples will direct all human resources activities for FSNS, including the planning, development and implementation of strategic HR goals and objectives, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, employee relations as well as the training, development and performance management of staff nationwide.
“We are delighted to have Staples on board. She brings a very strong and well-rounded HR background that will assist us in rolling out new initiatives and growing our management team,” said John Bellinger, FSNS CEO. “As we continue to build and expand our operations, Staples will help implement policies that support our key business and human resources goals,” he added.
Before joining FSNS, Staples held senior human resources leadership roles for Spurs Sports & Entertainment, FLEXcon Industrial, and Arlon Signtech. During the last four years, Staples has also served as an associate professor at University of Phoenix and adjunct instructor at Park University.
Staples is a 2014 graduate of The University of the Incarnate Word where she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Education, and graduated as an education specialist in human services from The University of Central Missouri. In addition to earning a master’s degree from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio, and bachelor’s from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Staples holdsher Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification.
